With the weather turning colder and the leaves changing colors it’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas. The East Parker County Chamber would like to invite everyone to participate in the 9th Annual Christmas Tyme in Aledo community event held on Saturday, December 5, 2009 from 5 – 9 P.M.

The activities will be concentrated on Maverick Street, Oak Street and 1187 South (Aledo Town Center). The Aledo Community Center will have Arts & Crafts vendors. And, visits from Santa at several locations (he's a busy guy!).  As you stroll thoughout town, there are many gifts to be found at our specialty shops and retailers. 

For the past 9 years, hundreds of families and friends have gathered in Aledo to celebrate this magical evening filled with music, activities, open houses and horse-drawn wagon rides. The aroma of kettle corn, hot chocolate, hot dogs roasting on an open fire mingled with the voices of Christmas carolers and wagon bells add a special touch to this once-a-year event.
